A Little Extra

A service assistance business has been a dream we have been wanting to bring to life over the past few years. The business plan was to originally just provide discounted Maintenance services, but we quickly realized people need more than just a handyman. Planning events, or parties, can be super difficult, stressful, and expensive. Filling out applications or legal documents can be tedious and confusing. Sometimes we just need an extra set of hand because we're busy or overwhelmed. We decided that we'd put together a list of services we knew we'd be able to assist with residentially and commercially, and the rest is history!

Our inspiration for our business name is a dedication to our son Owen Keith Cook. Owen was diagnosed with ASD level 3 nonverbal at roughly two years old, since receiving his diagnosis it became very clear to us that the possibility of Owen needing long-term day to day care was completely plausible. With age and therapy progression is possible, but we wanted to be sure that financially he would be cared for now and in his adult life. This business gives Owen a chance to thrive, a chance to have a place in the future workforce that is comfortable and accepting, and it allows our family to be around for Owen when he needs us. We're so excited to turn this dream into a reality for him, and thank YOU so much, as our customers you make this dream possible, and we will work every day to ensure a helping hand whenever you need it!
